From our privileged position, we feel a moral duty to give people who were born and raised in the slums of Africa a chance to develop themselves and eventually be able to be independent. We achieve this by being involved in different ways within the foundation in the Netherlands but also very much so in Kenya.<\/div>\n<p><\/p><a id=\"link_button-94-31\" class=\"ct-link-button\" href=\"https:\/\/stichting4life.nl\/\" target=\"_blank\"  >BEZOEK WEBSITE<\/a><\/div><div id=\"div_block-20-31\" class=\"ct-div-block\"  data-aos=\"fade-up\"><h5 id=\"headline-25-31\" class=\"ct-headline\">Stichting 4 Life<\/h5><div id=\"_rich_text-24-31\" class=\"oxy-rich-text\" ><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Stichting4Life<\/em>\u00a0richt zich primair op kinderen in de grootste sloppenwijk van Kenia: Kibera. Door begeleiding en scholing kan deze nieuwe generatie de armoedespiraal doorbreken. Uit onderzoek is gebleken dat ieder jaar onderwijs later voor 8% extra inkomen zorgt.<\/li>\n<li>Onderwijs voor kinderen is alleen zinvol, als de omstandigheden thuis goed zijn. Zonder een dak boven het hoofd, eten op tafel en een veilige thuishaven kunnen kinderen hun schooltijd niet succesvol afronden.<\/li>\n<li>Om de thuis situatie voor kinderen te verbeteren, cre\u00ebert\u00a0<em>Stichting4Life<\/em>\u00a0banen voor de moeders. Zo produceert en verkoopt de stichting sieraden en stoffen artikelen. Ook zijn er microkredieten beschikbaar voor moeders en voogden van kinderen die steun ontvangen van\u00a0<em>Stichting4Life<\/em>. De kredieten worden niet aan individuen maar aan groepen ter beschikking gesteld. De \"repayment rate' ligt daardoor zeer hoog. Door de individuele bedrijfsbegeleiding zijn veel kleine zelfstandigen in staat succesvol hun eigen bedrijfje te runnen.<\/li>\n<li>Een deel van de moeders en voogden is HIV-positief. Hierdoor verliezen kinderen regelmatig hun (enige) verzorger. De sociaal werker zorgt in deze gevallen voor opvang bij familie of buren en ondersteunt het gezin dat de wezen opneemt.<\/li>\n<li>Door export van fairtrade producten naar Nederland te faciliteren (o.a. onder het merk\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.sieraden4life.nl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sieraden4Life.nl<\/a>) stromen euro's terug naar Kenia waarmee vervolgens salarissen en schoolgelden betaald kunnen worden.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section><section id=\"section-48-31\" class=\" ct-section\" ><div class=\"ct-section-inner-wrap\"><div id=\"new_columns-50-31\" class=\"ct-new-columns\" ><div id=\"div_block-51-31\" class=\"ct-div-block\" ><h5 id=\"headline-52-31\" class=\"ct-headline\">How<\/h5><div id=\"_rich_text-104-31\" class=\"oxy-rich-text\" >SCM Executives brengt ook graag S4L onder de aandacht bij onze klanten, kandidaten en leveranciers.
